Routes Asia 2013 Officially Launched

Routes Asia is the only network planning forum for the Asia region and the 11thRoutes Asia event was officially launched earlier this week. The event will take place in Mumbai on 17-19 March 2013 and will be hosted by Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) which is managed by GVK group.

700 key decision makers from across the Asia Pacific region and beyond are expected to gather at the annual event in 2013 to discuss air service development. The event attracts more than 80 carriers interested in developing routes in Asia such as the five largest carriers in Asia, China Southern, China Eastern, Air China, All Nippon and Japan Airlines.

Registration has now opened for airlines and already the following airlines are amongst those already registered, Air India, Jet Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Spicejet, IndiGo, Qatar Airways, South African Airways, LOT Polish and Finnair.

Other early registrations from the industry include Narita Airport Corp, Sydney Airport, Chengdu Shuangliu Airport, Tourism New Zealand, Edmonton International Airport, Malaysia Airports, Copenhagen Airports and Birmingham Airport. Exhibition stands at the event have also been selling fast with Tourism Australia, Philippines Tourism, Frankfurt Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Cambodia Airports and Sabre Airline Solutions amongst those who have already confirmed exhibition status.
