Routes Africa Partner Airlines

We are delighted to announce that alongside the discount offered by this year’s official carrier, Air Seychelles, further offers of discounted travel have been made by three partner airlines to this year’s Routes Africa; Emirates, Kenya Airways and Ethiopian Airlines. Below you will find some information about these carriers and the generous offers made by them to Routes Africa delegates.

Emirates

Now flying to 22 points within Africa, Emirates connects those countries to key markets across Europe, the Far East, Australasia, the Americas and the Indian Subcontinent.

Kenya Airways

Kenya Airways has been flying to Seychelles for 35 years, the first flight landed on 7thMay 1977 operated by a B707.

Kenya Airways flies to 57 global destinations with 45 of these in Africa. The airline is also a member of the SkyTeam Alliance through which it offers connections to over 400 global destinations. The airline operates out of its hub in Nairobi and offers seamless connections to its customers to any of these destinations.

With plans to be the leading carrier in Africa, the airline has mandated to fly to all African countries by 2013 in order to achieve its mandate of interconnecting Africa and, through its hub in Nairobi, connecting Africa to the world. Currently Kenya Airways operates three flights per week from Nairobi to Seychelles, on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Ethiopian Airlines

Founded in 1945 Ethiopian Airlines is one of the continents leading carriers. Operating at the forefront of technology, the airline has also become one of Ethiopia’s major industries and currently serves 66 international destinations operating the newest and youngest fleets.

Owned by the Ethiopian Government, the national carrier of Ethiopia entered into a code share agreement in 2010 with Scandinavian Airlines, one of the founding members of Star Alliance, providing travellers with better connectivity and a broader range of services between Europe and Africa.
