Face-to-Face Meetings

Strategy Summit

Open to all attending delegates, the Routes Africa Strategy Summit will open Routes Africa in Tenerife, taking place on Sunday 26 June. It already boasts a number of senior speakers including Edmund Makona, CEO, Air Zimbabwe; Ali Tounsi, Secretary General, ACI Africa; Dr Elijah Chingosho, Secretary General, AFRAA; Fernando Estrada, Chief Strategy Officer, Vueling; Richard Bodin, Chief Commercial Officer, fastjet and Raphael Kuuchi, Vice President, Africa, IATA. The Strategy Summit promises to provide interesting and engaging content for the Routes Africa audience. Topics to be debated include the future challenges for aviation in Africa and the economic impact of tourism.

Routes Talks

Taking place on Monday 27 June, Routes Talks are a series of presentations focused on a wide variety of industry topics. Our Routes Talks programme already includes a ‘Route Case’ analysis on the Air Cote d’Ivoire, Abidjan – Abuja route, an AFRAA projects update delivered by Elijah Chingosho, Secretary General and a presentation focusing on the lack of data in Africa. Networking Events

The Routes Africa Welcome Reception will be held at the event venue, the luxury Gran Hotel Bajia Del Duque hotel, in the Beach Club. The Networking Evening and the Routes Africa Marketing Awards will take place at the Finca Punta del Lomo, a rural complex built on a banana plantation. Tour Programme

Our Host are also offering a wide variety of complimentary and and paid tours during your stay in Tenerife. A new tour has just been added to the programme, Siam Park.
