This past August, with the summer holidays in Berlin and Brandenburg, was the month with the highest number of travelers so far this year. A total of 2.39 million passengers travelled via BER in August.
In August 2024, more than 1.6 million passengers traveled from Cyprus airports, with a significant 5.7% increase compared to the corresponding period in 2023, while the overall average load factor across flights was 89%.

For the same year (2019), 9 in 10 passengers from China travelled indirectly connecting via other airports to reach Athens.
Over 770,000 passengers passed through the Olbia airport in July, marking an increase of +11 (about 75,000 passengers), compared to the excellent result of 2023. Approximately 5,030 movements were handled in one month, with an average of 162 flights per day and peaks of over 200 flights on weekends.
