Strong year-round air service to and from well-connected Nordic hubs has helped earn Aarhus Airport a top-tier position in a newly released Europe-wide study of flight connectivity which considers market linkage by economic importance, relevance, value and quality of air service, as well as volume.
Airlines and tour operators have finalised their upcoming W24 schedule from Münster/Osnabrück Airport. Passengers can look forward to an extensive flight offer during the winter months with numerous destinations.
To mark the occasion, Loganair’s Chief Executive Officer, Luke Farajallah, and Chief Commercial Officer, Luke Lovegrove visited the airport to meet with Nick Jones, Chief Executive Officer at Newcastle Airport and his team to surprise one lucky traveller with free flight vouchers.
In August 2024, travel activity remained high at Aalborg Airport, resulting in the highest number of travelers for an August month in six years — with a 4.7 percent increase compared to August 2023. At the same time, two major announcements for summer 2025 were revealed, with PLAY returning with their direct non-stop route to Iceland, and Ruby Rejser opening a direct non-stop route to Nuuk in Greenland.
From January to June 2024 the Airport handled 3,100 tonnes of cargo, an 87% increase on the same period last year, further establishing the Airport as one of the UK’s key strategic air cargo gateways.
