Bahrain successfully concluded the 29th edition of the Routes World 2024 last week, marking a resounding success for the Kingdom. The landmark event, held from October 6-8, 2024, was hosted by Bahrain International Airport, managed and operated by Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), in collaboration with Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB).

September ended on a positive note regarding passenger traffic at Larnaka and Pafos Airports. Last month, 1.4 million passengers travelled to and from Larnaka and Pafos airports, further contributing to the upward trend observed this year. Compared to September 2023, passenger traffic increased by 7%, and this September's performance set an all-time record for the month.

Bratislava Airport Recorded One of the Best Summer Seasons in Its History

During the four summer months, from June to September, M. R. Štefánik Airport handled a total of 1.1 million passengers on arrivals and departures. This is one of the best summer results in the airport's history. Most summer vacationers departed from Bratislava to Turkish Antalya, Hurghada in Egypt, Larnaca in Cyprus, Burgas in Bulgaria, as well as Alghero on Italian Sardinia and the island of Malta.

More than 276,000 passengers in the first nine months of the year, with a flight occupancy rate of 87% +12% compared to the same period in 2023.

AIRiminum 2014, the management company of Rimini and San Marino International Airport, announces that as at 30 September, the increase in commercial passengers recorded in the first 9 months of 2024 is around +12% compared to the same period in 2023.

Spectacular traffic performance continues at Athens in September, achieving a new record with 3.296mio PAX. recording  growth of 9.6% to September last year. Last year, Athens International Airport achieved its top performance (until that time) with 28.17mio PAX. Compared to 2019, Athens welcomed in 2023, 2.6mio additional PAX.
