Bahrain International Airport (BIA) has been awarded the “Best Airport Staff in the Middle East 2024” from SKYTRAX for the second year in a row at the 2024 World Airport Awards, the most prestigious accolades for the airport industry, voted for by customers in the largest annual global airport customer satisfaction survey.

Gulf Air Group (GFG) Chairman, H.E. Zayed R. Alzayani, and Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mohamed Yousif AlBinfalah, received the award on behalf of Bahrain International Airport (BIA).

CAP, Curaçao Airport Partners NV, is pleased by the Q1 2024 passenger movement results. Total passenger traffic movements were 494,378, an increase of +36% vs Q1 2023. In addition, Curaçao International Airport, CUR, processed 201,204 international departing passengers, an increase of +38% compared to Q1 2023.

From May of this year, a new destination will be available at the Bratislava M. R. Štefánik Airport - a flight directly to the Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW). The new route connecting Bratislava with this extraordinarily popular destination will be operated by the Turkish carrier Pegasus Airlines.
