easyJet launches its first operations from Zagreb airport with two new routes to Paris and London Gatwick

Passenger numbers in Zagreb are expected to reach 120 000 in the first twelve months.

This Thursday easyJet, Europe's leading low-fares airline, has put on sale two new flights from Zagreb to Paris Charles de Gaulle and London Gatwick. The new routes will start operating on 1^st

November 2010 and 11 February 2011. Tickets will be available from as little as 31.99€, including taxes and charges.

The new flights to Paris and London will be operated respectively 4 and 5 times weekly.

Peter Voets, easyJet's Marketing Manager for Switzerland, Austria & Eastern Europe, said:

"After a growing presence in Split and Dubrovnik, we are delighted to add a new airport to our network. Since the start of our operations in Croatia 4 years ago we have been growing double digits almost every year. Offering direct flights from the capital will now allow Croatians to enjoy our great fares year round to some exciting cities like Paris and London. The impact on the local economy will also be important with 120 000 new passengers flying in and out Zagreb.
