Riga to welcome Romanian carrier

TAROM will start serving Riga from 28^th March - with four-times weekly flights from Bucharest.

Flights will depart on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday using the carrier’s 737-700s.

Gabriela Bordea, TAROM’S executive VP, marketing and sales, said: “TAROM flights to Riga will operate on a schedule especially designed to ensure the best point-to-point travel solution and offer passengers good connections to other routes operated by TAROM, via Bucharest.”

There is currently no scheduled service from Bucharest to Riga, BSP data currently shows that passengers are flying through Prague with Czech Airlines as the leading indirect alternate (46%).
