Regional carrier moves in at Clermont

Regional French carrier Chalair has stepped into the void left by Regionale in Clermont by operating four markets from the airport in central France. Chalair will operate the following routes:

• Lille
• Marseilles
• Strasbourg
• Toulouse

The new routes will be inaugurated from January 11th and will be operated using a Beechcraft 1900 turboprop. Clermont has struggled in recent times to fill capacity with only one carrier operating there and only one International route in Amsterdam.

Its largest markets are:

• Paris Orly- 28 weekly flights
• Paris CDG- 25 weekly flights
• Lyon- 17 weekly flights
• Nantes- 11 weekly flights
• Strasbourg- 10 weekly flights
