Norwich International Airport (NWI), serving the East of England, handled more than 355,000 passengers in 2024 and draws from a catchment of 900k people within a 60-minute drive. The airport sees strong potential for visiting friends and relatives (VFR) and leisure traffic.
Ryanair launched operations at Norwich Airport in April 2024 with flights to Alicante, Faro and Malta. Following strong demand, the carrier extended Alicante to year-round service and added an extra weekly frequency during the summer 2025 season. Meanwhile, Malta has also been extended into a year-round service from Winter 2025.
Blue Islands also began flights from Guernsey with a stop in Jersey, enhancing connectivity with the Channel Islands.
Norwich Airport now offers 15 destinations and maintains long-standing partnerships with TUI, KLM and Loganair.
As a member of Routes 360, the only digital platform dedicated to route development, Norwich Airport has uploaded multiple route opportunities to its profile to meet VFR and leisure demand across the UK and Europe.
