Moroccan carrier to serve Malaga

Air Arabia Maroc, the subisdiary of Sharjah based Air Arabia, has announced that from June 14th it will add new non-stop service on a 3x weekly basis from its base of Casablanca to Malaga, Spain.

The carrier which serves a number of European markets attracting leisure and VFR traffic will compete with Royal Air Maroc offering a 1x weekly flight and Iberia a 4x weekly.

IATA BSP data shows that over 20,000 O+D pax flew the sector between Feb 09-10.
