MIAT Modifies German Schedules

MIAT MONGOLIAN AIRLINES is understood to have cancelled plans to launch flights from Ulaan Baatar to Frankfurt after a proposed lease deal for a Boeing 767 to operate the route was dropped. The flight schedule for the route has now been removed from Sabre. However, MIAT will continue to serve the German market via Berlin, maintaining a twice-weekly Ulaanbaatar – Moscow Sheremetyevo – Berlin Tegel schedule. From 30JUN11 to 04SEP11 the link will operate with a technical stop in Ekaterinburg and frequencies will be increased to four per week. During that same nine week period MIAT will codeshare on AEROFLOT RUSSIAN AIRLINES' flights between Ulaanbaatar and Moscow.
