MEA opens Iraqi route

Middle East Airlines has become the latest carrier to begin services to Iraq, with a 4x weekly rotation to Erbil in the North of the country. The carrier is operating A321 equipment on the route and faces competition on the route from two carriers in the shape of;

• Iraqi Airways -1x weekly B737-200
• MED Airlines- 4x weekly operating with CRJ aircraft.
