The Latest Airline News Ahead of World Routes in Abu Dhabi

Last week The HUB revealed that a record number of airline delegates are registered for World Routes in Abu Dhabi and this week we have another exciting ‘first’ to report.

Following the registration, earlier this week, of SkyTeam’s VP Alliance Operations, Mr Cuitlahuac Gutierrez, all three global alliances will be represented at World Routes for the first time. Mr Gutierrez joins Mr Horst Findeisen, Vice President Business Development for Star Alliance and oneworld’s Vice President - Membership and Customer Experience, Mr Dennis Tierney meaning that all three alliances will be represented at VP level in Abu Dhabi.

This week has also seen the addition of several more Route Exchange Airline Briefings bringing the total of briefings currently confirmed for World Routes in Abu Dhabi to 33. Briefings confirmed this week include Arik Air, AirAsia, Pegasus Airlines and Oman Air. Click here to find out more.

Airlines who have confirmed their attendance in the last few days include Ethiopian Airlines who will also represent ASKY at the event and LATAM, the merged entity of Latin American majors LAN Airlines and TAM. The complete and up to date list of airline attendees, which now has an improved layout, can be found here.
