Jin Air to break into Philippine market
Jin Air- Korean air's low-cost carrier - could soon be adding a second (scheduled) international destination to its network if its proposed charter service to the Philippines is a success.
From 14th January until early February the carrier will offer seven charter services between seoul Incheon and the former military base, Clark airport (DMIA) in the Philippines (a magnet for low-cost carriers and a hub for local carrier Cebu Pacific).
The airline hopes to convert the charter services to scheduled flights in February.
The development follows its recent decision to suspend charter services to Tokyo Haneda.
