Jet2 Adds New Holiday Links

UK low-fare carrier Jet2.com is to introduce another two summer sun destinations to its network in 2013 in partnership with its tour operator sister venture Jet2holidays. The airline will add weekly flights to Zante from Manchester Airport and Leeds Bradford Airport and twice weekly links to Dubrovnik from Belfast, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, East Midlands and Newcastle supporting the ATOL protected package holidays of Jet2holidays.

The new service commence from May 2013 and will support seven night holiday breaks to the popular sun-kissed Greek island and new breaks into Montenegro which will be accessed via a scenic ferry crossing across Kotor Bay. Alongside the packages, Jet2 will also offer seat only direct sales.

“We are thrilled to add the sun destinations of Zante and Montenegro as our range of destinations continues to grow for our North West and Yorkshire customers. As holidaymakers start making their travel plans for next summer, we are confident these will be popular destinations,” said Steve Heapy, Managing Director of Jet2holidays and Chief Commercial Officer of Jet2.com.

“Montenegro is an exciting place to visit and offers a unique and special experience for those seeking something a bit different from their holiday. Meanwhile, Zante is a hugely picturesque island with great stretches of golden sands ideal for couples and families, it also has a livelier side for those looking for some fun in the sun,” he added.
