Edmund Makona, CEO of Air Zimbabwe, Ali Tounsi, Secretary General for ACI Africa and Elijah Chingosho, Secretary General for AFRAA are the latest speakers to confirm their attendance at this year’s Strategy Summit.
Open to all attending delegates, the Routes Africa Strategy Summit will open Routes Africa in Tenerife, taking place on Sunday 26 June. It promises to provide interesting and engaging content for the Routes Africa audience, as panels of leading industry experts are brought together in a series of moderator-led panel discussions to debate key air service development issues affecting commercial aviation across the region.
Topics to be debated include the future challenges for aviation in Africa and the economic Impact of tourism for the region. A number of presentations and keynote speeches will also feature in the Strategy Summit to educate and inform the Routes Africa audience.
Other confirmed speakers for this year’s Strategy Summit include Girma Shiferaw, Acting Vice President, Corporate Strategy, Communications & Alliances, Ethiopian Airlines; Fernando Estrada, Chief Strategy Officer, Vueling; Richard Bodin, Chief Commercial Officer, fastjet and Raphael Kuuchi, Vice President, Africa, IATA.
Routes Africa will take place in Tenerife, Canary Islands from 26 – 28 June with around 250 delegates in attendance. Now in its 11th year, the event has brought together the leading airlines, airports and tourism authorities to enhance connectivity to, from and within the region since 2006.
