IBERIA Express Takes Over Additional Routes from Parent in Winter 2012
IBERIA Express has outlined planned Winter 2012/13 operation, which sees the low-cost unit of IBERIA will take over additional routes to Germany, Scandinavia and some domestic flights from Mainline.
Planned operation from 28OCT12:
- Madrid – Berlin Tegel 3 daily IBERIA Mainline service transfers to IBERIA Express
- Madrid – Copenhagen 1 daily IBERIA Mainline service transfers to IBERIA Express
- Madrid – Dusseldorf 3 daily IBERIA Mainline service transfers to IBERIA Express (2 Daily) and IBERIA Regional (1 Daily)
- Madrid – Frankfurt 3 daily IBERIA Mainline service transfers to IBERIA Express
- Madrid – Jerez de la Frontera 3 daily IBERIA Mainline service transferred to IBERIA Express (2 Daily) and IBERIA Regional (1 Daily)
- Madrid – Stockholm 1 daily IBERIA Mainline service transfers to IBERIA Express

Except seasonal routes, IBERIA Express discontinues following routes:
Madrid – Granada (Service operated by IBERIA Regional only)
Madrid – Santiago de Compostela (Service transferring toIBERIA Mainline and IBERIA Regional)
From 28OCT12, IBERIA Express’ flight number will move from I2/IB2400 – 2699 to I2/IB3600 – 3799
