Hainan ramps up Taipei service

Hainan Airlines will increase capacity between Beijing and Taipei with a 4x weekly B737-800 which will commence from July 5th.

Hainan Airlines competes on the trunk route with the following carriers

• Eva Air 5x weekly
• China Airlines 5x weekly
• Air China 7x weekly

Over 473,000 O+D passengers flew the sector between March 09-10, with Hainan Airlines having just a 5% share of this market. It will hope to increase this number with the extra weekly frequency.
