A Global Airport Group That Champions Connectivity And Sustainability
Malaysia Airports is one of the world’s largest airport operator groups in terms of number of passengers handled. It manages and operates 39 airports in Malaysia and one international airport in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The 39 airports in Malaysia comprise five international airports, 17 domestic airports and 17 Short Take-Off and Landing Ports (STOLports). Its flagship airport, KL International Airport (IATA Code: KUL) is among the region’s preferred aviation hubs. KUL has three independent runways that run at approximately 4,000m length each to serve both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The airport caters to more than 65 airlines, as well as serves more than 120 direct destinations.

Apart from operating and managing airports, Malaysia Airports also spearheads development through its Aeropolis initiative, which focuses on off-terminal growth to strengthen the aerospace and air cargo sectors. This has attracted global and regional leaders such as Collins Aerospace and ExecuJet MRO at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (IATA Code: SZB), as well as Asia Digital Engineering (ADE), DHL Express, and GE Aerospace at KLIA.
By transforming parts of its landbank into thriving aerospace and logistics hubs, Malaysia Airports is anchoring high-value industries including maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), aerospace parts manufacturing and assembly, high-value electronics, and integrated supply chain facilities.
