Garuda Indonesia Shifts Mid-East Service to Abu Dhabi; Signs Etihad Deal

2nd Update at 2010GMT 17OCT12: Additional Codeshare Routes added

Garuda Indonesia and ETIHAD will launch worldwide strategic cooperation deal, which is due to be announced on Thursday 18OCT12. As of 16OCT12′s GDS timetable listing, Garuda Indonesia’s “GA” code will appear on 28 routes operated by ETIHAD, covering 4 continents, including Jakarta – Abu Dhabi and Kuala Lumpur – Abu Dhabi from 28OCT12.

As part of the deal, the airline from 02DEC12 will shift 4 weekly Jakarta – Dubai – Amsterdam route will to Jakarta – Abu Dhabi – Amsterdam, with A330-200 aircraft.

GA’s new Schedule and codeshare routes with ETIHAD as follows:
