Garuda Indonesia Outlines CRJ1000 Aircraft Operation

As per 06SEP12 GDS timetable and inventory display, Garuda Indonesia starting mid-October 2012 is introducing NEW CRJ1000NG aircraft to its operation. The new regional jet, initially based at Ujung Padang, will allow the airline to increase frequencies on existing routes while opens up new services.

Planned CRJ1000NG routes as follows.

Balikpapan - Tarakan eff 12DEC12 (NEW Daily service)
Balikpapan - Yogjakarta* eff 12DEC12 (daily service operates with CRJ1000, replacing 737-500)
Denpasar - Surabaya eff 16OCT12 (All 4 daily service operates with CRJ1000, replacing 737-800. 5th daily from 23OCT12)
Denpasar - Yogjakarta eff 16OCT12 (1 of 3 daily by CRJ1000 instead of 737-800)
Manado - Ternate eff 05DEC12 (daily CRJ1000 instead of 737-300, flight number change also in effect)
Surabaya - Lombok/Praya** eff 14NOV12 (NEW daily flight by CRJ1000)
Surabaya - Semarang** eff 14NOV12 (NEW daily flight by CRJ1000)
Ujung Padang - Balikpapan* eff 12DEC12 (7 of 11 weekly by CRJ1000 instead of 737-800)
Ujung Padang - Denpasar eff 16OCT12 (NEW 2nd daily flight, in addition to existing daily 737-800)
Ujung Padang - Gorontalo eff 14NOV12 (NEW 2nd daily flight, in addition to existing daily 737-800)
Ujung Padang - Kendari eff 05DEC12 (1 of 2 daily by CRJ1000 instead of 737-800)
Ujung Padang - Lombok/Praya eff 14NOV12 (NEW Daily flight)
Ujung Padang - Manado eff 05DEC12 (NEW 2nd daily flight, in addition to existing daily 737-800)
