The new redesigned Lounge Center A offers modern zonal concept with a range of privacy options, market hall-style food areas, including a front-cooking-zone.

Swiss-made furniture and clear SWISS design lines dominates in both parts of the lounge, Business and Senator.

The new “SWISS Alpenstübli” within the Business Lounge, in which the airline will present its home country in all its regional variety on a series of large screens. The room is also decked out with allergy-friendly straw wallpaper.

Senator Lounge area.

Lounge Center A is located in Terminal 1. In addition to the traditional reception desk, each of the separate entrances to the new Business and Senator Lounges will also feature two automated entry gates permitting swift boarding-pass access to the lounge concerned.

Business Class section.

Both sections, Business and Senator areas, offers enough dinning area facilities.

A new silent and relax area replaced a former bar, which has been once of of the largest bars in the aviation industry.

The lounges’ food areas, meanwhile, have been devised along market-hall lines, and each include both a large bistro section and a front cooking zone.

With the barcode of the boarding pass, passengers can get easy access to a personal Wi-Fi code.

Lounge chairs. The SWISS Business Lounge offers 560 sq m and 162 seats.

SWISS CCO Markus Binkert told ATW that state-of-the-art infrastructure in airports are necessary, especially when passengers fly on European short-haul routes and spend more time in airports instead the aircraft.

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) opened its redesigned Lounge Center A at Zurich Airport July 2. The new center, which is mainly aimed at short-haul travelers, offers business-class passengers and Senator Members (gold status frequent traveler) state-of-the-art facilities.
