French Airport loses key routes
Regionale, the subsidary carrier of Air France has announced that it is to discontinue four domestic routes from the struggling airport. Regionale has confirmed that it will axe current schedule services to the domestic markets of Lille, Marseille, Strasbourg and Toulouse from December 19.
With currently 13 destinations served out of Clermont the loss of four domestic routes is a blow to the airport which has struggled to compete with the competiton that it faces from Lyon, both located in Central France.
