Fleet Boost for Air China

Air China is looking to meet rising demand by taking delivery of 20 boeing 737-800s from 2013-2015.

Air China's official news release states that the order will: "strengthen the fleet capacity of the company by around 5% based on available tonne kilometers as at 31 December 2009. It will also reinforce the company's market share in the domestic market, and will increase frequency of flights for a number of domestic and neighbouring international routes."
