Exeter International Airport (EXT), part of Regional & City Airports, serves as the international gateway to Southwest England. The airport offers direct flights to 26 destinations and handled more than 453,000 passengers in 2024, an 8% increase year-over-year.
The airport serves the counties of Devon and Cornwall, with a core catchment of more than 1.6 million people in a 60-minute drive time. It also experiences an annual leakage of around 5 million passengers to other UK airports.
TUI increased its capacity at Exeter Airport by 35% in summer 2025 by basing a second aircraft, enabling 50 weekly flights to 13 destinations. The expansion included a new weekly service to Ibiza and year-round flights to the Canary Islands.
The airport has also added new connectivity with KLM launching a daily service to Amsterdam Schiphol in March 2025 and Loganair set to begin flights to Manchester in October 2025. These additional services have boosted the airports year to date passenger growth to close to 600k, making it one of the fastest growing regional airports in the UK.
