Ethiopian Airlines to launch 777-200LR service to Washington Dec 2010

As per 05AUG10 GDS timetable display, Ethiopian Airlines is introducing NEW 321-seater Boeing 777-200LR aircraft to its fleet this Winter season. Per display, Boeing 777-200LR is to enter service on 15DEC10 to Washington.

Schedule details and configurations below:

Service operates via Rome on westbound flight will continue, but eastbound flight will operate as nonstop, eliminating Rome stopover (saves overall travel time by 2hrs 35mins). Also, overall frequency increases from 6 weekly to Daily.

With the increase in frequency and capacity, capacity to Washington is to be increased by roughly 770 - 820 seats per week, round trip basis.
