Emirates announce new route to the Ivory Coast

Emirates has announced new non-stop scheduled service from its Dubai hub to Abidjan in the Ivory Coast. The route will be operated on a daily basis from May 1st and will be operated with widebody A340 equipment.

The route will be the only non-stop service from the Middle East to Abidjan, and will be Emirates'17th destination in Africa, it currently operates 140 weekly departures from Dubai to the African continent.

IATA BSP data shows that over 20,000 O+D pax flew the route between Feb 09-10.
