Egyptair to discontinue Intl link

Star Alliance carrier, Egyptair has announced that it will discontinue its seasonal service from Cairo to Montreal. The service had been operated throughout summer 09.

Egyptair has however firmed plans for a 50% increase in its schduled link between Cairo and Tokyo Narita which will go from a three to a six weekly service. Additionally Egyptair will switch aircraft between the city pairs with a B777-300ER now to be put in service, in place of the A340-600. The new flights will come into place from May 31st, 2010.
