easyJet to serve Amsterdam-Barcelona route

easyJet will begin non-stop services from Amsterdam to Barcelona on a daily basis effective October 31st. easyJet will compete on the route with three carriers namely

• Transavia- offering 21 weekly flights
• KLM offering 35 weekly flights
• Vueling offering 21 weekly flights

Over 673,000 O+D passengers have flown the sector between May 09-10 with 45% of passengers flying with KLM.
