easyJet to add Swiss connection from CPH

Low cost carrier easyJet will expand its operations in Copenhagen with a new 4x weekly service to Basle, Switzerland.

The route will begin from November 1st and easyJet will be the only carrier operating the route. A320 aircraft will be deployed on the sector.

IATA BSP data shows that O+D numbers on the route are low with passengers currenty flying Swiss Air via Zurich as a primary transit point. However new low fare competition will be sure to stimulate the market.
