Donavia Outlines Airbus A319 Operation

Aeroflot Group carrier Donavia is set to introduce Airbus A319 aircraft to its operation, which is scheduled to start from 28OCT12, according to GDS timetable and inventory display as of 10JUN12. The airline is expected to receive 2 Airbus A319, according to Aeroflot's inflight magazine, which will replace some of its Boeing 737-400/-500 operation.

Initial planned A319 operation as follows:

  • Mineralnye Vody – Moscow Sheremetyevo eff 28OCT12 All 3 daily service operates with A319, replaces Boeing 737-500
  • Mineralnye Vody – Yerevan eff 28OCT12 All 2 weekly service operates with A319, replaces Boeing 737-500
  • Moscow Sheremetyevo – Saratov eff 28OCT12 All 1 daily service operates with A319, replaces Boeing 737-500
  • Rostov – Moscow Sheremetyevo eff 01DEC12 Airbus A319 aircraft progressively replaces Boeing 737-400/-500. A319 initially operates 3 of 5 daily, this will increases to 4 of 6 daily from 11JAN13
  • Rostov – Dubai eff 15JAN13 1 weekly service
