Devon and Cornwall Lose a London Link
Air Southwest has cut its services betwen Plymouth and Newquay and London City Airport, citing a lack of volume traffic and the volcanic ash crisis.
However the carrier will still operate a link to London, retaining its service to London Gatwick after the route closure on 21 May.
"Our London City route...offers a superb product but has not attracted the volumes of customers necessary for us to continue operating it," confirms Air Southwest managing director Peter Davies.
