Delta increases LHR capacity

Effective September 19th, Delta Airlines will inaugurate a third daily rotation between JFK and London Heathrow. The lucrative route already has a number of other carriers serving the route

• American Airlines- 34x weekly
• British Airways- 42x weekly
• Virgin Atlantic- 21x weekly
• Kuwait Airways (extension) 3x weekly

From Feb 09-10, nearly 2 million O+D passengers flew the route with the average one way fare in excess of over 850USD.
