The Data Appeal Company, part of Almawave (Almaviva Group), has been appointed the official Knowledge Partner for the Tourism Seasonality Summit, run by Routes and Low Season Traveller.

Now entering its third year, the Tourism Seasonality Summit has quickly become a premier gathering for senior leaders in tourism, aviation, and destination management. The event provides a dedicated forum to confront the economic, environmental, and social challenges that arise from the heavy concentration of visitors during peak travel periods. The 2026 Summit will take place in Rimini, Italy, from 17–18 May.

Combining the global event expertise of Routes—renowned for shaping the future of air connectivity—with the thought leadership of Low Season Traveller, the leading voice on sustainable tourism seasonality, the Summit has evolved into a driving force for reimagining how the industry addresses seasonal demand patterns.

Tourism Seasonality Summit Founder, Ged Brown said: “The conversations at this Summit are only as good as the intelligence that informs them. The Data Appeal Company brings world-class data capability to a challenge that has long suffered from too much opinion and too little evidence. I am delighted to welcome them as our Official Knowledge Partner for Rimini.”

The Data Appeal Company’s Head of International Tourism, Emilio José Inés Villar, will present a keynote speech at the summit on how artificial intelligence can power demand forecasting, product development, and marketing to better balance tourism flows across the calendar.

"Understanding seasonality and behavioral patterns is crucial for sustainable and balanced destination management,” says Data Appeal’s Head of International Tourism. “As Knowledge Partners of the Tourism Seasonality Summit, we are committed to placing data intelligence at the heart of strategies that address this challenge effectively in a rapidly evolving environment. By adopting a data-driven approach to seasonality, destinations can unlock new opportunities, strengthen local economies, enhance visitor experiences, and safeguard the wellbeing and quality of life of local communities.”
