CSA to increase Kazakhstan flights

CSA Czech Airlines will begin services from its Prague hub to Astana in Kazakhstan from June 2010. From 01 June it will begin operating Astana on a 2x weekly rotation with A319 aircraft. Skyteam member CSA also operates Almaty on a 2x weekly rotation which will increase to 3x weekly from March 28.

CSA in recent times has focused much of its new route development on eastern Europe, giving Skyteam new and increased presence in developing markets.

CSA will be the only operator serving the Prague Astana route, whilst its A319 service to Almaty is also the only service between the two markets.
