Carriers evaluate BKK capacity in light of current political instability

- Garuda Indonesia is temporary canceling selected service on Jakarta - Bangkok route till 31MAY10
- Vietnam Airlines has temporary reduced Ho Chi Minh - Bangkok service from 2 to 1 Daily. VN851/852 is canceled until 29MAY10 (27MAY10 is operating). There is no changes to Hanoi - Bangkok operation.
- ASIANA AIRLINES has reduced Seoul Incheon - Bangkok service. OZ743/744 which operates 4 weekly service, is canceled until 20JUN10. Overall service reduced from 11 weekly to Daily.
- China Eastern is temporary cancling Shanghai Pu Dong - Bangkok MU541/542 service until 26MAY10. Subsidiary Shanghai Airlines is also canceling this route on selected dates until 06JUN10
- As per 20MAY10 GDS timetable display, Malaysia Airlines is making following adjustments on Kuala Lumpur - Bangkok flight until 14JUN10:.
- As per 20MAY10 GDS timetable display, Air China is switching operating aircraft on Beijing - Bangkok service on temporary basis until 31MAY10. Boeing 757/767 operating instead of 777-200 on following dates:
- As per 20MAY10 GDS timetable display, QATAR Airways is adjusting operational aircraft on Doha - Bangkok service:
- Emirates is temporary canceling Airbus A380 service on Dubai - Bangkok EK372/373 service. Instead, Boeing 777 variants is operating this flight from now until 31MAY10. Note there are some cancellations on this flight in particular, as per airlines' inventory display as of 20MAY10:
- China Airlines is temporary reducing service to Bangkok. Significant reductions are Taipei - Hong Kong - Bangkok (CI641/642) service from 23MAY10 to 03JUL10 and Kaohsiung - Bangkok from 23MAY10 to 29MAY10.
