British Airways / bmi to Start Codeshare Service

British Airways from 05APR12 is launching codeshare service on flights operated by bmi, just days after the European Commission approved International Airline Group's acquisition of bmi.

Initially "BA" code will appear on bmi service to Central Asia, Middle East and Africa. Codesharing points include:

• Addis Ababa
• Almaty^
• Baku
• Bishkek
• Beirut
• Khartoum
• Freetown^
• Tbilisi
• Yerevan

BA's codeshare flight number range on bmi operating flight is BA8050 - 8099, except those marked in ^, codesharing flight number is BA7020 - 7029
