The HUB is delighted to announce that the Flag Carrier of the UAE, Etihad Airways, has been appointed as the official carrier for this year’s World Routes event and are offering registered delegates a 15% discount on flights to Abu Dhabi.

Etihad Airways has, in just eight years, established itself as the world’s leading airline. Set up by Royal (Amiri) Decree in 2003, Etihad, which is the Arabic word for ‘union’, commenced commercial operations in November, 2003, and has gone on to become the fastest growing airline in the history of commercial aviation.

Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, is the airline’s hub. Etihad’s fleet of 66 aircraft operates more than 1000 flights per week, serving an international network of 84 passenger and cargo destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and North America.

There are many hotels to choose from in Abu Dhabi but, during World Routes, we recommend staying in one of our preferred hotels. Choosing one Routes’ official event hotels delegates will benefit from discounted rates and complimentary transfers to the event venue, the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), networking evening and Abu Dhabi International Airport. There will also be a dedicated, staffed World Routes Information Desk located in each of these hotels.

If you have not yet secured your hotel reservation, you should do so as soon as possible as both the Aloft and the Hyatt Capital Gate are already sold out and there is only limited availability at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr and the Premier Inn ADNEC.

There are still some fantastic discounted rates available at a wide range of hotels in various areas of Abu Dhabi including the Hilton Abu Dhabi situated downtown, the Yas Island Rotana and the newly opened Rocco Forte. This stunning new hotel is at the heart of the city's commercial district, with easy access to both the airport and event venue and has been discounted further to just AED640 per night.
