BA Winter 2012 Network Changes (Update on 18JUL12)

British Airways on Wednesday 18JUL12 has provided more information regarding its network restructure, followed by parent IAG's acquisition of bmi.

Latest operation changes for Winter 2012/13 season, effective 28OCT12, includes the following.

London Heathrow – Amman New Operational schedule and flight number. Service operates with lie-flat Airbus A321 aircraft

bmi's Airbus A321 aircraft will be re-configured with new inflight products, featuring lie-flat Club World Seats.

London Heathrow – Freetown
London Heathrow – Tbilisi – Almaty (Almaty service to become 1-stop instead of nonstop)

Following bmi aircraft operating routes to be cancelled, but has yet reflected in the GDS as of 0600GMT 19JUL12:
London Heathrow – Almaty – Amritsar 3 weekly
London Heathrow – Cairo 1 Daily
London Heathrow – Casablanca 4 weekly
London Heathrow – Riyadh – Dammam 3 weekly
London Heathrow – Riyadh – Jeddah 3 weekly

Service on London Heathrow – Tehran route, operated by bmi A321 aircraft carrying “BD” coded flight number only, remains unchanged for the moment.

• London City – Palma Mallorca Service to operate year-round instead of summer-only, 2 weekly E190 service
