With only five weeks to go until the 18thWorld Route Development Forum opens in Abu Dhabi, have you applied for any necessary visas?
This year World Routes delegates requiring a visa to travel to Abu Dhabi can apply using the specially designated service provided by Etihad / TT Services (TTS). Visas can be arranged for all delegates who request one, even those travelling on a non-Etihad service as well as for any spouse delegates registered for World Routes 2012.
A list of countries whose nationals do not require a visa before entering the United Arab Emirates can be found here. Delegates who are not eligible for the free of charge visa on arrival should apply for their visa as soon as possible.
In most cases a 30 day tourist visa will be offered which will be sent electronically and must be printed and produced on arrival at any UAE Airport. However, delegates from Egypt, Syria, Libya, Tunisia, Iraq, Yemen, Bangladesh and Nepal will need to choose a 14 day entry permit visa. It is recommended that these delegates arrive into Abu Dhabi International Airport as they will need to collect a hard copy of their visa on arrival.
Delegates requiring a visa should complete the online form and submit this with the other necessary documentation which is detailed here.
