American LCC unveils new routes.

AirTran, the low cost carrier that has its main bases in Orlando and Atlanta has today unveiled several new routes to its scheduled network.

Starting Dec 17th, it will inaugrate new schedule service to the Key West market (EYW) from both of its main bases and will operate a B737 on both routes. Key West has traditionally been home to smaller aircraft with many legacy carriers operating smaller turbo props to the Island.

It also plans to start new services to Nassau from Atlanta, Baltimore and and Orlando as well as operating to Aruba from both ATL and MCO.
