United Airlines is one of the world’s largest network carriers, operating a broad U.S. hub system with extensive international reach. 

In 2025, the airline flew a record 181 million passengers and posted record revenue, reflecting continued demand across its domestic and international networks. 

Looking ahead, United plans significant fleet growth in 2026—including deliveries of more than 100 narrowbody aircraft and around 20 Boeing 787s—alongside continued investment in customer experience, such as expanded connectivity and onboard upgrades, to support disciplined network expansion.
