airBaltic's new summer medium-haul routes
Riga based airBaltic has revealed its intentions to introduce a new seasonal summer service from the Latvian capital, to Amman and Beirut.
The carrier will introduce the routes from 01 June and 02 June and they will be operated on a 2x weekly rotation using B737 aircraft.
There is currently no service between either of these city markets. IATA BSP data (Airport IS) shows little traffic between the market, but it is believed that tour operator support and the stimulus of the new market will deliver passenger flow on the routes.
