AirAsia Applies For AOC in Vietnam

AirAsia is making its next step towards establishing a joint venture in Vietnam by applying for an AOC to operate there.

Earlier this year, the airline said it would buy a 30% stake in Vietnamese carrier Vietjet and launch a new LCC.

AirAsia currently has subsidiaries in Indonesia and Thailand.
