Air Niugini to Start Boeing 737-700 Operation

Air Niugini starting 15JUL12 is introducing new Boeing 737-700 aircraft to its operation, which subsequently sees a number of operational changes. The changes mostly affects aircraft redeployment on Brisbane and Sydney service. The airline also plans to offer service to Cebu, its 2nd destination in the Philippines.

Details:

Port Moresby – Brisbane Service remains at 11 weekly, operating with a mix of 737-700 and 767-300. Fokker 100 no longer operates this route

Port Moresby – Sydney Overall service remains two weekly, but will be operating as terminator flight. Boeing 737-700 replaces 767-300

Port Moresby – Cebu The airline plans to start 2 weekly service from 15JUL12, according to its timetable listing on the website. However reservation is not available as it is not loaded in the GDS
