Air Malta adds Italian link

Flag carrier Air Malta has revealed its intention to commence non stop service from Catania to Frankfurt. The new route will be operated on a 3x weekly rotation from March 28th with A319 equipment being deployed.

Air Malta will face competition on the route from German LCC Air Berlin which operates a 2x weekly service operated with B737-800 aircraft.
