Air India to serve Melbourne

Melbourne Tullamarine Airport, a Routesonline Enhanced Airport profile holder, will receive a new daily non-stop service from November linking the city with Delhi.

Air India will operate the new route on a daily basis. It will be the carrier's only non-stop service to Australia.

IATA BSP data (AIrport IS) shows that between April 09-10, over 615,000 flew between India and Australia, with Singapore Airlines taking 35% of this traffic, all indirectly.
