Air India Flight Migration

AIR INDIA has set 12FEB11 as the date it will incorporate the flights of Indian Airlines, which still operate under the 'IC' code, into its own network, a major in its plans to become a full member of the Star Alliance.

With the new changes, the flight number rules are:

• AI000-099 International Connection
• AI100-199 Long-haul service
• AI200-299 Nepal, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Maldives
• AI300-399 East and South-East Asia
• AI400-899 India Domestic
• AI900-999 Middle East Service
• AI6000-8999 Codeshare
• AI9500-9899 Alliance Air
